A habitat is a home environment for plants, animals or other organisms.
棲息地是指植物，動物或其他生物的生存環境。
The main components of a habitat are shelter, water, food, and space.
棲息地主要組成部分是庇護所，水，食物和空間。
Here are some common examples of animals and their habitats.
這裏有一些常見的動物和其棲息地的例子。
1. Grassland Habitats 草地棲息地
They are wide, open areas where mostly grass and flowers grow.
它們是大片開闊的區域，長滿了草和花。
- Grassland animals: Giraffe長頸鹿,lion獅子, elephant大象
2. Desert Habitats 沙漠棲息地
Because deserts don’t have much water, animals that live in the desert are able to conserve water and keep their body temperate at the right level.

Food is scarce and the climate is very cold on mountains.

Many animals have adapted to survive the cold temperature.

5. Freshwater Habitats 淡水棲息地
Freshwater habitats are found in glaciers, lakes, reservoirs, ponds, rivers, streams, wetlands and even groundwater.

7. Rainforest Habitats 雨林棲息地
They are found in warm places and are full of many tall trees and leafy plants.
